In Memory Of
Kathleen Ann "Kathy" Wolf
1956 - 2023

Kathleen Ann "Kathy" Wolf, age 66 of Beavercreek, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023 at home surrounded by family. She was born November 1, 1956 in East Orange, New Jersey the daughter of the late Robert and Judith Baxter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Baxter.

Kathy was deeply family oriented and devoted to both her family and friends. A thoughtful and caring individual, she always placed others’ needs before hers and leant an ear to anyone who needed an outlet. Her cackling laughter and “Jersey attitude” were refreshing and delightful, especially her use of colorful words, a few of which were picked up by her young granddaughters while in the car. Kathy enjoyed shopping, especially for her granddaughters’ clothes and those special, well-thought out Christmas and birthday gifts. She was an avid speed-walker routinely seen around the neighborhood or at the gym logging her five miles per walk; a resilient individual in the face of adversity; a great cook; a peacemaker; she kept a maliciously clean house; and she had a zest for life. Kathy was also a daughter devoted to taking care of her late mother. Kathy lived in four different states as a military spouse and she enjoyed exploring new environs after a move. She also vacationed to many states and European countries, and her travels led Kathy to discover her perfect “happy place” - Italy.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 44 years, Paul; two daughters, Angela (Matthew) Wolf-Erdlitz and Melanie Wolf; grandchildren, Ada Erdlitz and Teagan Kroeger; sisters, Susan (Robert) Iannaccone, Wendy Henry and Nancy Cashmere; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Day City Hospice or to the Thoracic Oncology Department of the James Cancer Hospital in Kathy's honor.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on 30 April 2023 in the Washington Room at the Presidential Banquet Center, 4548 Presidential Way, Kettering OH from 12:00 - 4:00 pm. Contact Melanie at mwolf0507@gmail.com for details and reservations.
