Betty J. Couch

Betty J. Couch was born on April 6, 1947, and passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026. Betty’s journey through life was marked by love, devotion, and the enduring strength she showed everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Throughout her seventy-nine years, Betty was a source of strength and kindness for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her cherished granddaughters, Nevaeh, Mariah, and Liz, who brought her immense joy and pride. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Marlowe and Laiken, whose lives she touched with gentle affection and guidance.

Betty is also survived by her brother, Jim Newman, and his wife, Jean, who shared in life’s laughter and challenges with her. Her daughter, Alisha Newman-Ross, remains a testament to Betty’s enduring love and support. The family circle extends further to include Charlie, spouse of a family friend, whose companionship was valued by Betty and her loved ones.

She now joins in rest her beloved husband, Roger Couch, with whom she shared many years of companionship and care. Also preceding her in death are her father, Frank Newman, her mother, Wanda Newman, her sister, Patty, and her brother, Martin.

Betty J. Couch leaves behind a rich legacy of familial devotion, compassion, and unwavering encouragement—a legacy that will continue to inspire all whose lives she touched. In remembering Betty, her family and friends celebrate a life lived with dignity, humility, and grace.
