Donna Lou Walters

Donna Lou Walters, 92, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026. Loving wife of the late Ronald Walters for 69 years, cherished mother of Greg (Brenda) Walters, Amy Walters, Bob (Marla) Walters and Lori Wood, adored grandmother of Jenny (Chad) Mosely, Matthew (Emilia) Walters, Teresa (Joe) Williams, Breton (Shelby) Walters, Josh (Kayleigh) Walters, Jake Walters, Kyle Walters, Tori Walters, Tracy Wood and Erin Wood, beloved great grandmother of Annabelle, Lyla, Isaac, Jonnah, Adalyn, Blaire and Luna. Donna is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, her parents Hershel and Sadie Graham, son David Walters, son-in-law Jeffrey Wood and siblings Robert Graham, William Graham, Betty Groves, M. Jean Daubenmire and Mike Graham.

Donna was born in Grandview, Ohio and grew up in Sugar Grove, Ohio. She attended Berne Union High School and was a lifelong Buckeye's fan. She spent her working years as a Housekeeping Supervisor for University of Dayton. 

She enjoyed bowling and in 1969 she was proud to say that she rolled a 289.  She loved cooking, water aerobics, playing bingo and reading as well as watching sports. Her favorite way to spend time was with her family, especially watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren enjoying their favorite activities.

Family will be holding a private celebration of Donna's life. She will be laid to rest at Byron Cemetery.
