Daniel Robert Weisman

Daniel Robert Weisman, age 75 of Centerville, OH passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. He will be missed by all after a long battle with cancer. Numerous complications interfered with his recovery following surgery. He gave it a good fight.

Born to the late Robert and Joyce Weisman. Survived by son, Travis (Holly) and daughter, Carley Vettri and her family. Also survived by sister, Jeannie Licklider (Dave) and brother, Joe Weisman (Deb); numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

"Danny" grew up in Dayton. He graduated from Patterson Cooperative High School. He became a Tool & Die Maker and later worked at Ludlow Cellular. He made many friends along the way and became quite involved in the AA community, becoming a mentor to many. He greatly appreciated all the love and support from all the special people in his life: Bobby, Tom, Dave, Monica, Colleen, Debbie, Paula, Carol, Mary Jane, cousin Kathy, and other extended family members, and numerous caregivers to name a few.

His favorite pastime was fishing and spending time with his family and buddies on the water. He could watch any sport on TV (football, NASCAR, fishing, golf, etc.) for hours. He was a great gardener - famous for his tomatoes and "other things."

He lived life to the fullest, often in the fast lane. May he now rest in peace with the Lord.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, OH 45459). A memorial service will begin at 12:00 pm.
