Ronald Stidham, born on February 26, 1952, in Hyden, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026, in Centerville, Ohio. Ronald's life was one marked by hard work, deep devotion to family, and an infectious joy that touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Ronald was a proud graduate of West Carrolton High School, Class of 1970. His strong work ethic and dedication found a home at Elano Corporation, where he worked as a machinist. Over the years, Ronald became a valued and trusted member of his team, retiring from the company in 2020 after decades of committed service.
Family was always the heart of Ronald's world. He is survived by two loving sons, Jason (Jennifer) Stidham and Randy (Brittany) Stidham, and four grandchildren who were his pride and joy: Brady, Macy, Shelby, and Garrett. Ronald was predeceased by his beloved wife Patricia—his steadfast companion and partner in adventure—as well as his father Emery Stidham and mother Gladys Stidham. The memory of his close family members guided him throughout his life and continues to inspire those he leaves behind.
Those who knew Ronald remember him as jovial and loud, with a laugh that could fill a room and lift the spirits of everyone nearby. He was proud, ornery in the most endearing way, and supportive of those he cared about. Ronald’s unfailing good mood and positive outlook were ever-present, shaping the atmosphere at gatherings and providing comfort and strength to his family and friends.
Ronald’s many interests and passions colored his days with warmth and excitement. He loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, taking great delight in the simple pleasures of nature. His enthusiasm for classic cars was infectious, and he cherished his moments with the MOPAR car club. NASCAR races were a regular highlight, as was his time spent with is best friend of 56 years, Terry Lawhorn. Perhaps nothing brought him more happiness than attending his grandchildren’s sporting and 4-H events, where he beamed with immeasurable pride. Special mentions must be made of the memorable trips to Florida that he shared with his beloved wife Pat—treasured times together that created a lifetime of memories.
Of all Ronald’s accomplishments, none stood taller in his eyes than his children and grandchildren. His greatest pride was in seeing the family grow and thrive, knowing that his love and guidance would leave a lasting legacy.
