Teresa Faye Wood

Teresa Faye Wood, age 71, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 13th, 2026. Teresa was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late William and Doris Ford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and survived by her husband, Robert Wood; her daughter, Sarah and Jason Barrett; her son, Michael and Madalyn Miller; and her grandchildren, Viera, Michelle, Kayta, Javen and Lorelei.

Teresa graduated from Wright State University, where she worked for 34 years. Her love of horses, crime shows, puzzles, baking desserts, margaritas, Mardi Gras and gardening in her fairy garden; was only surpassed by her love of her grandchildren.

There will be a visitation held from 10:00am-12:00pm on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek).

Teresa will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery (27 S Fairfield Rd, Beavercreek) directly following the visitation.
