Scott Allyn Vincent
He finally reached a higher plane. Scott Allyn Vincent passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2026, at the age of 71. He was born on April 7th, 1955 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
Scott was grumpy, sarcastic, and always ready to give the people he loved a hard time. If he picked on you, you knew you were one of his favorites. He was a man with a huge heart who loved deeply, even if he wasn’t always great at putting it into words. Anytime he tried talking about anything meaningful, there was a good chance he’d get choked up before he could finish.
Scott’s greatest joy was the life he built with his beloved wife, Taresa. After losing her unexpectedly in 2021, a piece of him left with her. He carried on because that’s what he knew how to do, but everyone who truly knew him could see that life was never the same. We find comfort knowing they’re finally together again.
Scott knew how to have a good time. Loud music, Alaskan Thunderfunk, fishing with family, grilling or enjoying a good meal, a cold beer, or a bourbon with family and friends. He had a talent for making everyone stop what they were doing to watch a funny video, usually about dogs or listen to a song he insisted they “had to hear.”
He also left behind a lifetime of stories that his family will be laughing about for years to come—from bowling alley adventures, El Toro tequila shots, to convincing Grandpa Fred to drink Bad Juans. Scott had the tendency to talk in his sleep, maybe smell and ask who was cooking tomato soup. (It was the smell of Jeremy’s feet).
Scott was preceded in death by his wife, Taresa Vincent; his parents, Fred and Patricia Vincent; and his beloved Yorkie, Sam.
He leaves behind his children, Sara (Cory) Cahill, Meghin (Travis) Vincent, Jeremy (Deven) Vincent, Stacy (Steve) Osborne and Danielle Jennings; his cherished grandchildren, Kileigh, Addy, Collin, Ethan, Jocelyn, Alton, Emmy, Kaylee, Madilynn, Emma, and Anthony; his faithful furry companion, Daisy; and countless family members and friends who will miss his sarcasm, his stubbornness, and the countless ways he showed his love; even when it came disguised as a joke.
In true Scott fashion, there will be no traditional funeral. Instead, we’re honoring his wishes with a celebration of life. Details coming soon for family and friends. So crank up some loud rock music. Fire up the grill. Go fishing. Raise a bourbon and/or a beer. Tell a joke. Smoke one. Make someone watch a ridiculous video they didn’t ask to see. And don’t be afraid to give someone you love a hard time.
