In Memory Of
Carol Lynn Soehner
1958 - 2021

In loving memory of Carol L Soehner. Carol Soehner, age 63, of Centerville Ohio, died of natural causes at home Sunday, February 21, 2021. She is preceded in death by her mother Jannette Woester Stetson, father Kenneth Stetson, and sister Katherine Nielsen. Carol is survived by her husband, Michael Soehner, daughters Jennifer Soehner (spouse-Angie Clayton) & Katherine Allen, granddaughters Lena and Cora Allen, along with other family and friends.

Carol was born in Lynnfield, MA year 1958. Her family moved to the Dayton region in the summer of ‘71. Carol met her husband, Michael Soehner in 1983. The couple moved to Perry, GA where they resided for the following five years. During their time in GA, Carol gave birth to their two daughters before returning to the Dayton area in the summer of 1989, where they reside today.

Carol loved combining her three most cherished things, family, nature, and photography. Armed with her Nikon camera, she could often be found capturing images of family, birds, butterflies, dragonflies or any other aspect of nature. She embraced the beauty that surrounded her, let nature feed her soul and be her guide. Carol found peace and God in nature. A walk in the woods, a paddle down the Little Miami river in her kayak, a beach chair late at night to watch the stars. She appreciated what nature provided both spiritually and physically and she wanted to share that knowledge. Carol spent many hours volunteering at Caesar’s Creek Nature Center and Warren County Parks where she served as a naturalist and guest speaker.

A private gathering will be held by the family at their convenience.
