William "Foote" Edwin Lehart, age 70 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Kindred Hospital. He was born August 31, 1943 in Troy, Ohio the son of William and Lois Lehart. He was a lifelong member of the O.K.I. Bluegrass Association and served in the United States Navy.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Bill is survived by his wife Carole, 5 Daughters - Sonia (Scott) Buffenbarger, Grayce Morris, Kelly (Lee) Wyatt, Amy (Dave) Louis, Tam (Randy) Minton; 2 Sons - Jeff (Angie) Lehart, Jon (Maribel) Fritz; Brother - Patrick Lehart; Sister - Kathy (Mike) Coen; 23 Grandchildren; and 5 Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be January 24, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
