Kenneth โ€œKenโ€ "Kenny" W. Tibbs, age 54, of Dayton, OH passed away Sunday June 9, 2013.

He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Tibbs; grandparents, John and Martha Tibbs and Willie and Ida Ratliff; and his aunts and uncles, Harold Ratliff, Willie Paul Ratliff, Kelly Phillips, Naoma and Junior Beoura, and Joann and Daryl Hall.

Ken is survived by his mother, Dorothy Tibbs; brothers, Michael, Douglas, and Christopher Tibbs, aunts and uncles, Carl Ratliff, Devonia Phillips, Willie and Para Tibbs, Geneva and Cecil Pence, Daisy Ratliff, Minnie and Billy Watson, and Eunice Ratliff, special friends, Ronda Combs and Samantha Reed; and many cousins and friends.

Ken played Bass and did a lot of work for the Eastview Church of God. He also was a volunteer Firefighter/EMT for the City of Kettering over 10 years.

Visitation is Friday June 14, 2013 from 10am to 12pm with funeral service at 12pm at the Eastview Church of God, 5289 Burkhardt Road, Dayton, OH 45431.

Pastor Leon Collins is officiating.

Donations may be made to the Eastview Church of God Media Ministry.

Arrangements are by the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
