Anita Marie Michel, age 71 of Oakwood, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born February 2, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of Frank and Marguerite Colombo.
A lifelong book lover, Anita worked in library acquisitions at the University of Dayton Roesch Library for 31 years. She was a loyal and enthusiastic fan of the Dayton Dragons.
Anita will truly be missed by her brother, Lawrence Colombo and her two sisters, Joann Herbst and Donna Colombo, her brother-in-law Rich Herbst, and her numerous friends.
Her family would like to thank Hospice of Dayton for their expertise and compassionate care.
A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, January 17, 2016 from Noon-3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home in Kettering.
