Carol A. Burns, age 65 of Franklin, passed away November 30, 2015. She was born December 26, 1949 in Middletown to the late Carl Slusser and Myrtle Wallace. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Elbert "Bud" Wallace; brothers: Larry and Duane Slusser.

Carol is survived by her husband of 37 years, Paul Burns; children: Kelly Moore, Denise Scott, Glenn Moore, Tonya (Brad) O'Bryan and Matt (Abigail) Moore; 11 grandchildren: Megan, Zach, Brandi, Brianna, Cassie, Kyle, Devin, Rachel, Addileigh, Paisleigh and Zayleigh; sisters: Donna Grau and Leda Deaton; sisters-in-law: Penny Slusser and Margie Groff; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9-11 am on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Vineyard Community Church, 4900 St. Rt. 123, Franklin, where the funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Springboro Cemetery. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
