William “Willie” Reynolds, born on December 22, 1978, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away on June 24, 2026, in Kettering, Ohio, leaving behind a cherished legacy of warmth, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family and friends.
Willie was the beloved husband of Amanda Reynolds for 20 years; he was the proud father of two daughters, Aleah (Jerico Brown) Reynolds and Alana (Kasey) Gilliland; his role as a grandfather brought him immense joy, and he deeply adored his grandchildren Wilder Brown, Bodee Brown, and Kolby Gilliland. William’s love for his family extended beyond his immediate circle. He was the devoted brother of Shawn Owens, Nikki Jackson, and Ashley Abner, and the loving son of Michael Reynolds. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Lykins, whose memory he held close throughout his life.
Known for his ability to make people laugh, Willie was a master storyteller who brought humor and cheer wherever he went. His joy in sharing stories was matched only by his generosity and welcoming spirit. Whether preparing a home-cooked meal, organizing a family gathering, or offering heartfelt advice, he held every interaction with sincerity and good humor.
Willie embraced life’s simple pleasures. He found solace and excitement in the outdoors, cherishing every opportunity to hunt, fish, kayak, and spend time shooting outdoors. Cooking for his family was both a passion and a source of pride—he found particular happiness in gathering loved ones around a hearty meal. Willie’s devotion extended to his dogs, especially Rousey, as they were a constant comfort and source of additional family joy.
A man who valued connection, Willie’s impact was felt not only within his own family but throughout a wide circle of friends and acquaintances, all drawn to his infectious energy. He delighted in the company of his grandbabies, who were a continual source of happiness and pride.
He leaves behind a legacy defined by love, laughter, and the countless stories—both shared and remembered—that will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
