William "Rick" White, Sr. Age 63, passed away January 19, 2018.
Rick retired from Weldcraft Products after over 30 years. He volunteered with the Dayton Police Department as a Neighborhood Assistant Officer "NAO" for over 30 years. Rick was a member of the salvation Army for many years and was a little league baseball coach for many years at Washington Park. He was also an avid outdoorsman who loved camping. He was a devoted father, loving grandfather and a father figure to many. Rick will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ada and John Rotert and James White; wife, Debbie; daughter, Melanie and brother, Bob.
He is survived by his 2 sons, Willie (Kendra) White and Larry (Anita) Rike; 1 daughter, Katrina (Jeff) Lawhorn; 5 sisters, Darlene Meacacke, Brenda White, Della (Dave) VanOstrand, Teresa (David) Ward and Tangy (Tim) Foister; brother, Johnny White; sister-in-law, Vicki White; many grandchildren and many other relatives, nieces, nephews and friends.
Family will receive friends Saturday, January 27, 2017 from 10 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Riverside Nazarene Church, 2552 Bushnell Ave., Riverside, OH 45404. The memorial service will be private.
