William E. "Bill" Weston, age 84, of Beavercreek, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026. Bill was born on August 30, 1941, in Philadelphia, PA, to William Weston and MaDonna Leidy. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Samuel Leidy; and sister, MaDonna Spratt.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Nancy (Bachman); his children, Susan (David) Gantner, William J. Weston, and Aaron (Heather) Weston; and his eight grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and happiness - John, Will, Emily, Kate, Jacob, Christopher, Joseph and Nathan; siblings, Sandy Hartfuss, Bernadette Wasch, Samuel Leidy, Jr; brothers-in law, Joseph Spratt, Art Wasch, Paul Hartfuss, Carl, Tom, Tim (Sandy), Jeff (Natalie) Bachman; and sisters-in-law, Carol (Jim) Uphaus and Theresa Bachman; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Bill graduated from John Bartram High School in Philadelphia. He always had a story to tell about the high school dances he attended or the adventures he had with his friends. He joined the United States Air Force and was stationed at Wright-Patterson AFB, where he met Nancy. After serving four years in the USAF, Bill worked for Frigidaire, General Motors, and Harrison Radiator. He retired after 35 years. Bill got a part time job at Ace Hardware on Wilmington Ave in Dayton and retired from there after 15 years.
He enjoyed helping people. While a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church, he volunteered for many years on the St. Vincent Committee. He made many trips to the food bank to fill his S10 truck with boxes of food and helped distribute them to folks in need. He loved spending time with his family. He always listened to the Cincinnati Reds game while he worked around the house. You could ALWAYS find him at his grandchildren’s activities. He was their biggest supporter!
