William C. "Bill" Turner, age 71 of Kettering went to his eternal hunting grounds on Sunday, November 15, 2020.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Turner; son, Terry Lynn Hunt, and his brother, Barry Turner.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Georgia Jeanette Long-Turner; six siblings, Bob, Barbara, Bruce, Betty, Beverly, and Burren Turner; two children; Roger Parrett and Nick (JJ) Hoffman; six grandchildren, Elisha (John), Wesley (KK), Roger Lee, Kaitlin "Katie bug", Jack, and Delani; and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Bill is a proud Navy Veteran who served aboard the USS Forrestal CV59 during Vietnam. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending his free time with his family. Bill was a hardworking man with a big heart. He will be dearly missed and is loved by all those who knew him.
