William "Bill" Robertson

William Robertson, age 69, was at home surrounded by family when he passed away, peacefully on Wednesday night, August 19th, 2026. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Tammy, and his thirteen children, Joseph(Sylvia), Mary(Eric), Daniel(Emily), Samuel(Sarah), Grace(Chris), Timothy(Shauna), Lydia(Reed), David(Tabitha) Rebekah(Malachi), Luke(Brooke) Hannah, John, Faith, and 29 grandchildren. He is also survived by an older sibling, Bruce Robertson.

William, affectionately known as “Bill”, was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 2nd, 1957. In December 1987 when he was 21 years old he made the most important decision of his life. He asked Jesus into his heart, and was born again. He started attending First Baptist Church of West Carrollton where he met his wife, Tammy, the woman who would become his wife and with whom he would build a life and family over the next 45 years.

They started attending Liberty Baptist Church in Moraine in 1989. He served in multiple ministries. He also served as a Sunday school teacher and associate pastor for many years. He was an avid collector of bibles and loved talking about his Saviour. He worked faithfully for Kroger for 52 years.

He was also very health conscience and liked staying active. However, he found no greater joy than to share about the blessed hope promised to all those who came to know Jesus. He had a heart for souls and even until the end of his life he remained a bold witness to those around him.

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;”- Titus 2:13 (KJV)

Bill left a legacy of faithfulness and servitude. While he will be deeply missed by all who loved him, his family finds comfort in knowing that the blessed hope he spent his life sharing with others is now the hope they hold onto as they say goodbye.

In lieu of flowers all donations will be sent to the SEAOF missions in Vietnam (South East Asian Orphanage Foundation), send donations to Liberty Baptist Church, (8990 W Third Street, New Lebanon, OH 45345).
