William R. Kistner, 72, of Huber Heights, passed away October 9, 2016. William was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 23, 1944 to the late Robert and Martha Kistner. William retired from Sherwin Williams/Dap Inc. He was a member of the Eagles and the Moose Lodge #2464 for many years. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Darlene Flynn.
He is survived by his son, Stacey Kistner, Anthony Kistner; daughters, Holly Williams, Monica Gentner; ex-wife, Alice McCoy; grandchildren, Anthony, Joshua, Audrey, Brandi, Brittney; great grandchildren, Olivia, Emilee, Atticus, Ezrah, Hailey, Brooke; brother, Mike (Vicki) Kistner; sister, Betty (RJ) Samborsky; and several other relatives and special friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 2 - 3pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where services will begin at 3pm.
