William F. Losito, age 77, passed away Friday, August 31st at Trinity Community of Beavercreek peacefully with family by his side. He was born and raised in Cincinnati before attending the University of Dayton (class of '64) and later Indiana University for graduate studies. After spending 22 years teaching at William and Mary, he returned to the University of Dayton as a professor for 13 years before retiring in 2005.
Bill was an active brother in the Society of Mary from the time he took his vows in 1959 until his departure from the seminary in 1967. His sense of spirituality, humor, and kindness touched so many people.
He met his wife, Sharon H. Losito, at William and Mary and after 20 years of devoted marriage she passed away in 1996.
Survived by his son, Daniel F. Losito and daughter-in-law, Nicole M. Aydelott of Centerville; daughter, Sara E. Sutter and son-in-law Thomas M. Sutter of Cincinnati; daughter, Rebecca M. Losito of Dayton; sister, Judith Losito of Cape Cod, MA; and grandchildren, Harper, Cameron, and Liam.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 5th at 4 P.M. at Trinity Community of Beavercreek (3218 Indian Ripple Rd.) with a reception to follow in Centerville.
