William "Don" Little

William Donald Little, "Don," age 80, of Dayton, Ohio passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, November 21, 2024. Don was born on June 29, 1944 in Frenchburg, KY, to the late Virgil and Mildred Little.

He is survived by his 5 children, Greg (Shari) Little, and Alicia (John) Brown, Jim (Carol) Carleton, Cindy (Doug) Simon, Tammy (David) McGeary; 12 grandchildren, Bryce (Sam) Little, Robert (Sarah) Little, Kelli (Michael) Alderton, Matthew (Courtney) Smith, Josh Carleton, Olivia (Colin) Morris, Douglas (Jenny) Simon, Derek (Amanda) Simon, Ryan McGeary, Tyler (Abby) McGeary, Kyle (Nicole) McGeary, Julia McGeary; 17 great grandchildren; brother, David (Lola) Little; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Don was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Little; former wife, Shirley Henry; and son-in-law, Matthew Smith.

Don graduated from Frenchburg High School. In his earlier years, he worked in the chemical and adhesive industry. He was also a volunteer police officer for the city of Fishers, Indiana. He later transitioned to automotive sales and finally real estate sales and was a member of the DABR. Don was a past member of the American-Lebanese Club and St. Ignatius Catholic Church where he served on the finance committee and Parish Council. Don was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. 

Don's family would like to thank the staff at Walnut Creek Nursing Center and Crossroads Hospice for their exceptional care. Don's antics will be missed by his care team and by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life and Mass will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 11 am at St. Ignatius Catholic Church (50 Nutt Road, Centerville, OH 45458). The family will hold a private graveside service at a later date.
