William R. Hammond, age 27 of Phillipsburg, passed away February 16, 2017. He was born March 22, 1989 in Dayton, Ohio. William was preceded in death by his grandparents: Eva Sue Lutz, Earl Swann and William Miller.
William is survived by his mother, Tracy Swann (Mike); father, Doug Hammond; grandparents: Lewis Lutz and Judy Campion; brother, Bradley Hammond; sister, Cynthia Bear; aunts: Dawn Spurlock (Rodney), Tammy Farrenkopf (Craig), Tamara Pintado and Jodi Hammond-Hale (Jason); uncle, David Hammond (Nancy); nephew, Ayden Hammond; numerous other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
William loved hunting and fishing with his dad. He enjoyed music and was devoted to God.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm.
