Cansler, William E. Jr., "Billy Cool", 79, of Huber Heights, passed away April 5, 2016.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and 82nd Airborne Master Paratrooper. He was the Past Master of the Masonic Lodge 777, Motor escort in the Shriners, Past Commander of the VFW 3283, District Commander of the VFW District 3, Past District 2 Commander of Cooties, Past Seam Squirrel of PT 83, member of AmVets 24, American Legion 619, Moose Lodge and was a former Montgomery Co. Deputy Sheriff.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William Sr and Genevia Cansler. He is survived by his wife, Karen Cansler; children, Debra Cansler, Cheryl Juliano, Tina Cansler, Melissa Edwards, Tracy Kenrick, Keith Barker; grandchildren, Michael Gray, Christopher Howard, Cory Juliano, Haley Terlinde, Jeremy McLaughlin, Kristen McLaughlin, Brooke Kenrick, Brian Kenrick; 9 great grandchildren; and brother, Michael Cansler.
Memorial Celebration 2:00pm Saturday, April 30, 2016 at VFW 3283 5074 Nebraska Ave. Huber Heights with Pastor Cory Juliano officiating.
