William A. Douglas, age 88, of Dayton, passed away on October 6, 2020. He was born in Newcomb, Tennessee, on October 4, 1932, the son of the late Will and Clara Douglas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beulah Douglas; and his siblings, Clyde Douglas, T.J. Douglas, Paul Douglas, Earl Douglas, and Mildred Guy.
William is survived by his children, William P. (Marie) Douglas, Rebecca (Mike) Hinton, James (Sissy) Douglas, Phillip Douglas and Cheryl (Mickey) Smith; 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; step-children, Ray (Missy) Crouch, John (Lori) Crouch and Brenda Brodrick; and many other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
William retired from IGA, where he was the Manager of the Meat Department. He was a member of the Retail Union for many years and a previous Deacon of the Apostolic Church in Tipp City. In his free time, he loved following various sporting events and listening to country music. He also adored his dogs, they were like family to him. He will be greatly missed by his family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020, from 10am-11am, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where Funeral Services will begin at 11am, with Pastor Josh Bell officiating. Burial and Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Flemingsburg, KY, on Saturday at 1pm.
