William Dobson Jr.

William Ralph Dobson Jr., age 82, of Kettering, passed away on March 25, 2016 at Kindred Hospital. He was born on October 8, 1933, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to the late William and Mattie (Williams) Dobson. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Dobson. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Emmalene; children, Charles Ralph Dobson, Rhonda (Alan) Ludwick, Randy (Michelle) Dobson; daughter-in-law, Cathy Dobson; 8 grandchildren, Dan, Michelle, Jeremy, Michael, Amy, Bradley, Tyler, Nicole; and 12 great grandchildren. Ralph worked at Church of the Ascension and school for 33 years as a custodian. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2016, from 4:00 pm. to 5:30 pm. at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd.. Funeral Service will begin at 5:30 pm.
