William "Bill" E. Caldwell Jr.

On March 19th, 2026, We lost a wonderful father, brother, and friend.

Bill went home to be reunited with his Mom Sue, Dad Bill, brothers Raymond, Ricky, and brother-in-laws Rick and Steve.

Bill is survived by his son's Alexander (Jillian), William III, and Bryant. Grandchildren Eric, Aaron, Natalie, Braxton, and Morgan. Great grandchildren Rowan and Scottie Sue. Sisters Sherri Jetters, Bobbie (Brian) Stewart, Julie (James) Parson, Susan Fogle, Debbie (Tom) Brooks, brother Robert (Sue) Fleming all of Dayton. He was blessed with many special nieces and nephews.

Bill spent his working years at MVPS, where he had many lifelong friends. His favorite hobbies were spending time at the Casino and enjoying time at Eastwood Lake. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family he was the one always cracking jokes, making people laugh, and the one his Mom always said don't encourage him as she laughed out loud. We would like to send a special heartfelt thanks to MVPS.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 from 9:30am to 10:30am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A funeral service will begin at 10:30am with burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park.
