William "Bill" H. Clark, a distinguished aerospace engineer and beloved family man, passed away on April 28, 2025, in Tipp City, Ohio, at the age of 94. Born on December 26, 1930, in Bisbee, Arizona, Bill lived a life characterized by intelligence, kindness, and an organized approach to life, often noted for his penchant for making lists.
Bill obtained a rigorous education, beginning at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, where he laid the groundwork for a notable military and engineering career. He proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard, flying helicopters and engaging in vital missions such as search and rescue, as well as fulfilling weather ship and engineering assignments. Following his dedicated service in the Coast Guard, he spent eight years flying with the Navy Reserve, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to his country.
His professional journey as an aerospace engineer was marked by numerous achievements, including the invention of a game on his computer, which stands as a testament to his creativity and technical prowess.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Clark, with whom he shared 22 joyful years. He is also survived by his daughters, Judy (John) Erwin and Jennifer (Earl Stevens) Clark, his son, David Clark, and step-daughter, Kim (Steve) Dennis. His legacy continues through six grandchildren, two step-granddaughters, five great-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren, and two step-great-great-grandchildren who will always cherish the memories they created together.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, William H. Clark, Sr., and mother, Cecelia Clark, as well as his daughter-in-law, Ann Clark. His remarkable life and the warmth of his spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
