William Michael "Bill" Beakler

January 18, 1958 — December 27, 2024

Xenia

William Michael "Bill" Beakler, a cherished husband, dad, grandpa, and brother, went safely home on December 27, 2024, in Fairborn, Ohio. Born on January 18, 1958, in Xenia, Ohio, Bill's gentle spirit and kind soul touched the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

He was a proud graduate of Park Hills High School, Class of 1977. Bill carried a selflessness and love into every aspect of his life. He was a funny and awesome dad, whose unwavering support and dedication to his family meant everything to him. Bill's ability to bring laughter and joy illuminated the lives of his loved ones; his great sense of humor will forever be cherished and remembered.

Bill enjoyed several hobbies, from fishing, drawing & building model cars. He loved playing video games with his son, William. He hustled his way through backgammon with his "Sissy", Belinda. These shared experiences were a testament to the loving and treasured relationships he fostered throughout his life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bernice, who stood by him; his devoted daughter, Hope (Brian) Lavery; and his dear son, William Beakler. Bill was a proud grandfather of seven grandchildren: Austin (Jessica) Hardin, Broden Wilde, Charleigh Hardin, Brooklyn Lavery, Kyle (Samantha) Lavery, Aiden Lavery, and Gavin Lavery. With the anticipation of welcoming a great-granddaughter, Ella, his legacy of love will continue to blossom through future generations. He is also survived by his devoted sister, Belinda (Jerry) Asbury; and many other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Robert S. Beakler, Jr.; his mother, Margalene Tatum; his step-father, Frank S. Tatum; and his brothers, Rodney E. Beakler and Robert S. Beakler III. Their memories and love remain forever etched in the hearts of those who remain.

As Bill ascended to be with the Lord, we take comfort knowing that his sweet, loving nature has not only touched our hearts but has created an everlasting bond that transcends time. In our memories, he will continue to be a guiding light, reminding us to love deeply and live life joyfully, just as he did. Rest in peace, you will be profoundly missed and forever loved.
