Willard Adkins

Willard Adkins, age 89 of Brookville, Ohio went to be with the Lord on August 26, 2026. He was born September 21, 1936 in West Liberty, Kentucky. The son of the late Isom and Polly Ann Adkins.

Willard was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a United States Navy Veteran who proudly served his Country. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Kentucky. Willard retired from Trucking after 50 plus years of being on the road. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, Willard was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Imogene Adkins; and son, Rodney Adkins.

He is survived by his sons, Ray Adkins and Ken (Vickie) Adkins; daughter-in-law, Carol Adkins; grandchildren, Ray Jr., Candace, Cassidy, Adam; great grandchildren, Paisley, Emma, Kya and Scarlett; and many other relatives and friends.

A burial will be held at Dayton National Cemetery with Military Honors at a later date.
