William M. Priest, known to many as Bill, passed away on June 5, 2026. Born on February 28, 1951, Bill led a life marked by dedication, hard work, and service.
Bill devoted over thirty years of his life to working as a Press Operator, a career through which he demonstrated remarkable skill and commitment. Even after his retirement, his unwavering work ethic saw him continue to contribute his talents at Lowe’s, reflecting a lifelong passion for diligence and service.
A proud veteran, Bill served honorably in the United States Army, exemplifying courage and steadfastness. His military service was a testament to his character, embodying the values of duty and patriotism that remained central to his identity throughout his life.
Bill is survived by his sister, Susan (Patrick) Conwell, along with his nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Rosemary Priest, as well as his brother, Richard Priest.
As we remember Bill, we honor a man whose life was defined by his commitment to his work, his country, and the people he loved. He will be missed but never forgotten.
Bill will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery at a later date.
