Wilbur Benson, 74, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 in Miamisburg, Ohio. Wilbur was born on January 26, 1943 in Frenchburg, Kentucky.
Wilbur is preceded in death by Claude and Clara Benson.
He is survived by his Wife of 43 years, Patricia Benson, Daughter, Paige Gibson, Son, Shane (Jodi) Benson, Granddaughters, Taylor Gibson, Logan Benson, Madison Benson, Son, JR Benson. 1 sister, 2 brothers and 3 sister in law. Also, survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Wilbur worked at Mound for 25 years.
Family will receive friends on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Dayton South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. He will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Wilbur's honor.
