Age 82, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007, at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Margaret (Spears) Tomlin in 2002. Wes is survived by one sister, Lena Smith; five brothers, Thomas & Eileen, Roy & Charity, Orville & Sue, Elijah & Wanda and Gene & Marge; and by numerous nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Glennis Sizemore officiating. Interment Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
