Wendy Leigh Jones

Wendy Leigh Jones, age 49 of Springfield, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born December 7, 1974 in Okinawa, Japan, the daughter of Charles and Martha Jones.

Wendy graduated from Fairborn High School in the class of 1993, where she played the flute in band. She worked for Springfield Regional Hospital for 20 years as a Pharmacy Technician. Wendy was a beloved sister, fiancée, aunt and friend to many who will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, David.

Wendy is survived by her brother, Todd Jones; fiancée, Scott Whiddon; nephews, Josh, Ryan and Logan; nieces, Sarah, Katie, Sierra, Mackenzie, Addison and Ryann; and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Wendy will be laid to rest at Byron Cemetery following the service.
