Wenda June Sesler went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. She was born on May 31, 1949 in Port Huron, Michigan. She was the daughter of Wilbert Hampton and Lillian Knight. She lived in Port Huron until she moved to Dayton, Ohio and married Samuel Sesler.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel Sesler; son by her first marriage, Larry; daughter, Kimberly; step-children, Angela and Scott, from Samuel's previous marriage; as well as 6 grandchildren.
Wenda worked in Centerville Schools for over 20 years as an Aide. She received her EMT license from Sinclair College and worked in the clinic in the high school. She also taught teachers and bus drivers First Aide and CPR in the summer.
Wenda played piano and organ at Fairhaven Church, Centerville Community Church, and St. Mary's Episcopal in Waynesville, Ohio. She also played for various groups in the Dayton area, such as the Kettering Women's Chorus, the Kettering Children's Choir, and the Centerville Community Chorus.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Episcopal Church (107 S. 3rd St., Waynesville, OH 45068). Additional details regarding the livestream of the service will be available soon.
