Warren Shingleton, age 57 of Moraine, went home to be with the Lord on February 11, 2018.
Warren was born on November 29, 1960 to the late Jac & Carmella Shingleton.
Warren is survived by his sisters, Theresa Schulte-Hordelhoff, Kathleen Gayheart, and Cynthia Holshue; brothers, Jack, Earl and George Shingleton; long time significant other, Sue Holmes; lifelong friends, Cheryl Smith, Micah & Sherry Hubbard; and many other relatives and friends.
Warren was the owner/operator of Shingleton Motorsports located in Dayton, Ohio. Warren served the community of 35+ years in the automotive repair industry. He had a gift for building engines and repairing vehicles. He was an avid race car driver and enthusiast. He lived his life around racing. He was a lifelong part of the Eldora Speedway family. Following his parents footsteps, he shared a love for dirt track racing and all that took place behind the scenes. Along the way Warren helped people and touched many lives. We will carry the legacy of Warren and his love for racing forever. He will be deeply missed.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 10-11am, at Newcomer South Kettering Chapel. The service will follow at 11am. Warren will be laid to rest with family at St. Stephen's Cemetery, Hamilton, OH.
