Wanda M. White

Wanda Marie White, age 95, of Dayton passed away on June 14, 2026. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 10, 1931 to the late Delphine and Myrtle Taylor. Wanda worked for over 40 years for the Kroger Company on Stroop Road as a Cashier. Wanda loved her job and the people she worked with and her customers.

Wanda was also a member of Xi Kappa Gamma of Beta Sigma Phi for 70 years. The Ladies she met over those 70 years were truly Sisters to her. She always said there were times she didn’t know how she would have made it through without her sisters support and love.

In addition to her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, Martin E. White and sister, June Olszewski. She is survived by her daughter, Kim White; son, Steven (Janey) White; grandchildren, Josh White, Jessica (Nick) Wisecup, Alee (Jesse) Dwyer, Tanner Banks; great-grandchildren, Michael and Audrey Wisecup, Kale, Elliot and Max Dwyer; brother, Charles Taylor; sister, Sherry Taylor and her dear friend, Leslie Green; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Wanda worked puzzle books up until her death. She loved fill-ins and word search, sorority activities and socializing. She never knew a stranger. At 95 she stayed active and it was hard to get her to sit down!

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park.
