Wanda Ruth Daily

Wanda Ruth Daily, age 88, passed away on February 8, 2026, in New Carlisle, Ohio, with her family by her side. Born on September 2, 1937, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Tilford and Mary Leach.

Wanda will be fondly remembered for her love of reading, which brought her endless joy throughout her life. She also had a deep appreciation for the beauty of hummingbirds that would often capture her attention.

She is survived by her daughters, Pamela McIntosh and Karen Persons; her grandchildren, Reggie (Sharon) Persons, Sean Persons, and Robert McIntosh; great-grandchild, Logan Persons; and her niece, with whom she had a special bond, Judy Sizemore. Wanda's loving presence will continue to resonate in the hearts of many other nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who had the privilege of knowing her.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Tilford and Mary Leach; her beloved husband, Stanley Daily; and her siblings, Hazel Leach, Gladys McHone, Janette Moore, Virgie Moore, Sylvia Norfleet, and Elmer Leach.

A Graveside Service to honor her life will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 170 N. Valley Rd., Xenia, Ohio. Family and friends are invited to gather to reflect on and celebrate the life of Wanda Ruth Daily.
