Walter "Skip" Bussell, passed away at his residence on November 26, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on October 26, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio, Skip's journey through life was marked by resilience, dedication, and a profound love for those close to him.
A graduate of Centerville High School, Skip found his calling in the printing industry, where he worked tirelessly for many years, most recently with Yeck Industries. His commitment to his career was mirrored by a steadfast work ethic, a trait that earned him respect among colleagues and friends alike.
Skip's personality shone bright, characterized by a tough exterior that belied a deeply caring heart. He was a devoted provider and always ensured that his loved ones were taken care of. Whether it was through quality time or his exceptional cooking, especially during family gatherings on holidays, Skip created lasting memories that will be cherished forever.
He had a wide array of hobbies and interests that reflected his zest for life. A hunter in his younger years, Skip also found joy in working on and showing classic cars, with a particular passion for his 1973 Mustang. Each of these pursuits brought him happiness and served as a testament to his vibrant spirit.
Skip is survived by his loving wife, Joanne Bussell; his sister, Stephanie; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve (Kathy) Matheson and Eddie (Janice) Matheson; his beloved cat, Whiskers; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will forever remember him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Patrick and Sandy, who will welcome him with open arms in eternal rest.
His memory will be cherished, and he will be deeply missed.
