Walter J. Schaney, Jr.

Walter J. Schaney, Jr., age 91 of Dayton, passed away June 2, 2018.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Alice Schaney; sister, Betty Watson; sister-in-law, Jean Schaney.
Walt is survived by one brother, Gordon Schaney; one son and daughter-in-law, Mike (Rox); one daughter and son-in-law, Missy (Jamie); 5 grandsons, Shaun, Devin, Chris, Billy and Jamie Jr.; 7 great grand children, Noah, Abigail, Tristan, Liam, Samarah, Jocylen, Stella.
Walt served in the United Sates Coast Guard and was stationed on the USS Richardson. He also retired from the Dayton Police Department after 27 years of service. He was quite the entrepreneur, owning several business in Ohio and Indiana.
