Walter L. Ward, age 81 of Dayton, passed away May 12, 2016 at The Hospice of Dayton. He was born February 15, 1935 in Dayton to his late parents.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ila Ward; daughter, Denise (Bruce) Dodson; son, Rick Ward; daughter, Vicki (Roger) Richards and Scott Ward; grandchildren, Danny, Jason, Matthew (Spenser), Nicholas, Courtney, Lindsay and Allison; sister, Anita (Bob) Lawton; brother, Roland (Sandy) Ward and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton or Dayton Children's Hospital, in Walter's memory.
