Walter Thomas Goldschmidt

Walter Thomas Goldschmidt passed away Wednesday June 12 after a brave fight with liver cancer. He leaves behind his sons, James and Jason, his granddaughter, Alexandra, and several dear brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony, his mother Beatrice, brothers Mark and Jerry, and his grandson, Aaron James Goldschmidt.

Born and raised in Dayton, Walt graduated from Fairmont High School in 1969. He went on to have a dedicated career at General Motors, where he worked until his well-deserved retirement. 

In his free time, he found joy in riding his motorcycle, working on computers, and, most importantly, spending time with his family. His passion for these activities brought him great happiness and fulfillment.

Walt will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
