Virginia Ruth "Ginny" Truderung

Virginia Ruth “Ginny” Truderung, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on June 17, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio, Ginny’s life was a testament to her deep faith, her boundless curiosity and her love for the beauty of God’s creation.

Ginny earned her bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University in the early 1990's, a reflection of her lifelong passion for learning. She was fascinated by the natural world and found joy in the quiet wonder of owls, turtles, and butterflies-creatures that reminded her of the peace and renewal she often found in nature.

Her faith was the foundation of her life. Ginny spent many cherished hours reading her Bible and sharing her love of God’s word with others. Those who knew her will remember her gentle spirit, her wisdom, and her ability to see grace in both the simple and the profound moments of life.

Ginny is survived by her loving daughter, Jennifer Jasmine Brewer; her cherished grandson, Damien Lord; her sister, Rita Truderung; brother, Robert Truderung; sister-in-law, Valorie Truderung; as well as her niece, Rebecca Truderung. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kindness, her faith and the light she brought to those around her.

A private celebration of Ginny’s life will be held by her family. In her memory, friends are encouraged to take a quiet walk in nature, lift their eyes to the sky, and give thanks for the beauty and wonder that Ginny so dearly loved.

There will be a graveside service at 10:00am on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery (27 S Fairfield Rd, Beavercreek).
