Virginia M. Roug

Virginia Marion Roug, age 93 of Beavercreek, formerly of Southern California, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Trinity Community of Beavercreek. She was born September 20, 1932 in Tulsa, Oklahoma the daughter of George and Beatrice Blake.

Virginia was actively involved in civic affairs in Los Angeles and Sylmar, California, and participated in the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Navir Danish Association. She was also an accomplished artist, winning several ribbons and shows over the years.

She is preceded in death by her father, George Gulick Blake; mother, Beatrice Mae Blake; husband, Verner Eric Roug; and her four sisters, Mae, Nelda, Juanita and Helen.

Virginia is survived by her sister and her husband, Shirley & Bill Cuthrell; nieces, Jennifer Siliven and Christy Davidson; and nephews, Matthew Cuthrell and Michael Cuthrell and many other loving family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 19, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Beavercreek Christian Church.
