Virginia Pittl, a beloved matriarch and cherished friend to many, passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on July 9 1941, in Dayton, Ohio, Virginia's journey through life was characterized by a profound love for her family and with a gentle spirit that touched all who had the privilege of knowing her.
As a devoted wife, she spent an admirable 61 years alongside her loving husband, Ladislaus Pittl. Together, they cultivated a life filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. Virginia found immense joy in nurturing her family, and her dedication was evident in the lives of her children, Corinda Pittl and Randy Pittl, who, along with his wife Tammy, carry forward the values and love she instilled in them. Her enduring legacy also extends to her brother, Dean Gray and his wife, Margaret; her sisters, Arlene Perkins and Marilyn Gray Brock; and her brother-in-law, Rudy Pittl and his wife, Reta. Virginia's family is further enriched by countless nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Virginia was beloved not only for her nurturing attributes but also for the affinity she had for the beauty of nature. Her passion for tending to her flowers mirrored the care and love she bestowed upon her family, who were her greatest joy and love. It was in her garden that she found solace, and the vibrant blooms served as a testament to her nurturing spirit.
Virginia is now reunited with her esteemed parents, Leslie and Wylodine Gray, and her brother, Wayne Gray, who welcomed her into the eternal embrace of their love.
As we reflect on the life of Virginia Pittl, we remember a woman whose heart was as blooming as her cherished flowers, whose laughter brought joy to gatherings, and whose love will remain an indelible part of her family's history. She was loved deeply and will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to call her family and friend.
