Violet L. Singer

Violet L. Singer, age 80 of Dayton, OH, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born April 25, 1938 in Scioto County, Ohio, to Orton and Lulu (Thompson) Hilterbran. Violet married Michael Singer in 1985 in Spring Valley, OH.

Violet was an active member of Spring Valley Pentecostal Church and was formerly the treasurer for the church. She loved decorating her home and helped with the decorating of the church as well. Violet loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Violet is survived by her son, Aaron L. Hill; a sister, Sherry Warnock; several nieces and nephews; several special friends from church; and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Sammy Joe Singer and infant son, Matthew Hill; a sister, Rosemary Walls; and two brothers, Carey and Tony Hilterbran.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. A Funeral Service will be held following the visitation at the funeral at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at Locust Grove Cemetery, Peebles, OH.
