Violet "Barb" Brooks

Violet B. Brooks "Barb" age, 78 of Dayton, reunited with her husband, Hubert Vonn Brooks on February 23, 2016. She was born December 19, 1937 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Ralph (Niel) Compton and Dorothy (Robert) Daughtern. In addition to her husband, parents and step-parents, Barb was preceded in death by her son, John Brooks; grandsons, Bryan B. Brooks and Matthew Noble; great-grandsons, La'Kell Newland and Zane McKinley.

She is survived by her 12 children, Ralph (Debbie) Compton, Vaughn (Roberta) Brooks, Guy (Missy) Brooks, Jackie (Terry) Williams, Bryan Brooks, Yvonne (Dallas) Letner, Kevin (Paula) Brooks, Douglas Brooks, Nicole Schroyer, Sherrill (Michael) Noble, Scott (Megan) Brooks and Michelle Hodge; 43 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren and Sheryl Albright (Brooks).

Barb loved to cook and she especially lover her family. She enjoyed shopping at yard sales.
