Victor Manuel Balaguer

Balaguer, Victor age 62, of Waynesville, Ohio passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020. He was born in Havana, Cuba on July 28, 1958 to the late Emiliano and Hilda Balaguer (nee Ruiz).

He was preceded in death by his parent-in-laws, Peter E. (Viola) Deis, brother-in-law, Dennis Deis; and sister-in-law, Maria Wegh.

Victor is survived by his beloved life partner of 30 years, Peter Michael Deis; brother, Emilio (Patricia) Balaguer; nieces, Amanda Balaguer and Emilie (Matthew) Helton; great-niece, Emilia Helton; brother-in-laws, Edmond (Donna) Deis, Gary (Kathy) Deis; sister-in-law, Diana (Brent) Ingram; special niece, Cindy (Chris) Henn; close friends, Robie Schumacher and Ted Urke; devoted pets, Duke and Boots; and a host of other family members and friends.

Victor lived in Cuba until he was 7 and then moved to Kettering, Ohio and graduated from Fairmont East High School in 1976. He loved to travel and entertain in the cantina and pool. Victor loved watching scary movies all year around.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432 followed by a Celebration of Life at 4:00 pm. Please dress casual in honor of Victor.
