Those who knew Vickie remember her as a woman who was never more than a phone call away. Her kindness extended beyond her profession and family; she was famously generous and resourceful, always willing to lend what was necessary without hesitation. Her home was a welcoming place where time could be spent relaxing on the front porch, tending to her beloved flowers, or sharing stories about her travels to the beach and Las Vegas, places she treasured dearly. Vickie also enjoyed sewing and lavished love on her fur babies, Princess and Lizzy, who brought her great joy.
On July 16, 1995, Vickie united in marriage with Steve Brown. Together, they shared 31 years of partnership and love.
