Vernon Lee Seiker, Sr.

Vernon Lee Seiker, Sr., age 66, of Beavercreek, passed away on September 12, 2026. Born on December 13, 1959, at Fort Benning, Georgia, he was the son of the late Eugene and Barbara Seiker.

Vernon devoted many years to the HVAC industry and retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. He served his country proudly by serving in the National Guard for six years. He was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church and the Moose Lodge in Beavercreek, as well as a dedicated volunteer at the Beavercreek Senior Center. His passions included fishing, hunting, playing cards, shooting pool, and cheering for the Cincinnati Bengals and Ohio State University. Vernon took great joy in teaching his grandsons to hunt and mentoring children in archery and baseball. Although he could be set in his ways and stubborn at times, he was known for his humor and cherished by his family, Vernon touched many lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Vernon "Lee" Seiker, Jr. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Treanda Seiker; children, Kristin (Donald) Shepherd and Nicklaus Seiker; grandchildren, DJ (Madison) Shepherd, Dalton Seiker, Kyle Shepherd, Damian Seiker, Sadie Shepherd, and Lahna Seiker; great-grandchildren, Everly and Kohen Shepherd; brother, Gerald (Tina) Seiker; along with many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will take place from 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 10:00 am at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 312 Fairground Road, Xenia. Burial will be at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn.
