Vera Gay Gentry, age 84 formerly of Middletown, passed away January 2, 2018. She was born May 27, 1933 in Middletown to the late Herschell and Vera (Mason) Bennett. In addition to her parents, Vera Gay was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Bennett.
Vera Gay is survived by her children: Bonnie Kelly, Douglas Gentry and Kimberly Gentry; grandsons: Joseph and Kevin Kelly; and sister-in-law, Helen Bennett.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 8, 2018 at St. John Catholic Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service 10-11 am.
Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. The family suggests contributions be made in Vera Gay's memory to The Hospice of Dayton. To send a special message to the family, please click on Share Memories.
