Velda Jean Donaldson

Velda J. Donaldson, age 66 of the Dayton area, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at her sister's home in Miamisburg. She was born November 11, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Ralph J. and Armella O. Malone.
In addition to her parents, Velda was preceded in death by brother, James R. Malone.
She is survived by her daughters, Marcie (Jessie) Aguilar and Carrie Begley; 4 grandchildren; siblings, Darrell (Jody) Malone, Darlene Call, Karen (Robert) Johnston and other extended family and friends.
Velda attended Meadowdale High School and completed her locksmith training. She was a member of the VFW Post 5018 and American Legion Post 613. Velda enjoyed crafting jewelry and primitives and participated in many renaissance events over the years as "Raven".
At Velda's request her family will host a memorial service in her honor at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton at 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton OH 45420. Please share memories and condolences through Velda's online memorial at www.NewcomerDayton.com.
